Welcome to the 988 Interfaith Social Media Contest!
This contest, sponsored by the Regional Council of Churches of Atlanta and Georgia DBHDD, is designed to engage faith communities. The goal is to raise awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline through creative social media posts, flyers, or bulletins. Below are the rules and guidelines to ensure a fair and fun competition for all participants.
How to Enter:
Create a captivating social media post, flyer or bulletin that promotes the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Submit your design via the website by December 31, 2024.
Spread the word! Encourage friends, family, and followers to share your entry.

Rules of the 988 Interfaith Social Media Contest
Eligibility
• Open to all faith communities and interfaith organizations.
• Participants must be 18 years or older (due to Georgia state laws).
• Youth leaders can participate by submitting on behalf of their youth groups.
Submission Guidelines
• Entries must be submitted through the official contest webpage 988ga.org/faith.
• Each participant or group can submit one entry.
• The content must be original and created by the participant or group.
Judging Criteria
• Creativity: How unique and innovative the design is.
• Relevance: How well the design promotes the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
• Engagement: The strength of the post’s ability to engage and inform the community.
Prizes
• 10 Winners: Each will receive a $250 Pizza Party Stipend.
• Winners will be notified via email and provided with a link to redeem their gift certificates.
Timeline
• Submission Deadline: December 31, 2024
• Winners Announced: January 15, 2025
Responsibilities
• Lexicon Strategies: Will provide a clear webpage, toolkit, guidelines, and a PDF flyer for distribution. Lexicon Strategies will also notify the winners and provide the gift certificates.
• Regional Council of Churches of Atlanta (RCCA): Will advise on language, review content, distribute the PDF flyer, ensure at least 25 entries, and help judge the entries.
General Rules
By entering, participants agree to allow Lexicon Strategies and RCCA to use their submissions for promotional purposes. The contest is void where prohibited by law. All entries must adhere to the contest guidelines and deadlines to be eligible.
