End Cards for Media

Be it news articles, broadcast shows, podcasts or any other content that touches on sensitive topics like suicide, mental health, or emotional distress, it is pivotal to provide audiences with accessible and immediate support.

Recognizing this, there has been a notable shift to 988 in the end card/boilerplate language guidance from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that was traditionally associated with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL) or the previous 800 number.

In light of this, we introduce the new 988 end cards, designed to offer a streamlined, effective call to action for those in need or for individuals who know someone in crisis. Each option is tailored to ensure that help is just a call, text, or click away.

Option A: With Horizontal Logo & Text (logos accessible below)

"If you or someone you know needs support now, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org"

Option B: With Square Logo & Text

"If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org"
